Important information


Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival. Early check-in is available for an additional charge, subject to availability. Please notify the reception desk of your early check-in request.


Check-out is at 12:00 p.m. on the day of departure. If you wish to stay longer, late check-out is possible for an addition charge, subject to availability. Please notify the reception desk of your late check-out request. For faster check-out, you can settle your bill on the day before departure, so that all you have to do at the time of departure is leave your key card and your spa bracelet at the reception desk.

Card payment

Our hotel accepts Visa, MasterCard, Cirrus Maestro, JCB, American Express and Diners Club cards. Please note that in according with our payment terms, we authorise your card at the time of arrival. Minimum authorisation fee is 110% of the accommodation costs payable in HUF, calculated at the exchange rate – valid on the day of arrival – of the bank that manages the hotel’s account. Lifting of the authorisation will be initiated as soon as your bill is settled. Lifting may take up to several days depending on your bank operating hours. The authorisation fee serves to authorise payment with your bank card and to prove that sufficient funds are available for settling your bill. Once the fee is applied, the bank will block the amount for 30 days or until the authorisation fee is lifted.

Tourist tax

For individuals over 18 who visit the town of Zalakaros for the purposes of tourism, a tourist tax is payable in the amount of 600 HUF per person per night. The exact amount of the tax is determined by the municipality of the town of Zalakaros, and accommodation providers are obligated to collect the tax from the guests.


Our hotel has an outdoor parking space protected by a barrier gate as well as an indoor garage, which is open to guests for an extra fee, depending on availability. You can open the barrier gate and the door to the indoor garage with your key card, while the gates open automatically when leaving.


Smoking is forbidden in the entire area of the hotel. Designated areas for smoking can be found in the terraces and outdoor grounds of the hotel. Smoking in any other areas of the hotel or in the rooms is forbidden, in case of breaking the rules we may charge your hotel bill with 100 Euro.

Dress code

Please dress appropriately when visiting the common areas of the hotel. Avoid wearing joggers, slippers and bath robes in the area of the restaurant.

Lost and found

If you have lost something, please notify the reception desk as soon as possible. If you notice one of your valuables is missing before departure, call +36 93 920 100 to enquire after lost and found items. If we find your lost belongings, we will immediately return them to you. Postage costs will be borne by you. We kindly remind you that we are not accountablefor items forgotten in the hotel nor for the posting of these items. If you find a lost item in the area of the hotel, please deposit it with the reception desk.

Technical issues

Should you encounter any technical errors or irregularities in the room or anywhere in the hotel, fill in the technical error report card found on the doorknob and hang it outside the door. In the event of emergency errors, contact the reception so that our technical staff can fix the error as soon as possible.

Green Hotel program

Our hotel pays special attention to environmental protection, one of the most important aspects of which is preserving water supply. However, our water-saving scheme requires your contribution, too. We kindly ask you to limit your water consumption to as much as is necessary for your comfort, and make sure to turn off the taps. Please indicate your request for a new towel by dropping it on the floor only when it needs to be laundered. We appreciate your help.

Baby-friendly services 

Children under 6 years stay free of charge in our hotel. In most of our standard rooms we offer extra beds and baby cots free of charge, but you can also bring your own baby cot. For the comfort of babies, we also provide a baby walker, changing mat, baby bath, potty, step stool, bathroom anti-slip mat, toilet seat and bottle dispenser. Baby food is available in our kiosk-fridge in the lobby, and a high chair is provided in the restaurant. Children are welcome with a special menu and games, but families can also choose from a wide range of children’s activities in and around Zalakaros.


Baggage Storage Service

Our arriving and departing guests have the opportunity to place their bag- gage in safe storage in the baggage room of our hotel. For more information, please contact reception. We can provide a bellboy cart upon request, and our colleagues are also happy to help with carrying luggage.

Besides the basic amenities in the room, you can ask for the following products at the reception desk free of charge: antiallergenic extra pillow, extra blanket, small pillow, pillows with different fillings, washable bedside rugs, bathroom chair, slippers, shaving kit, toothbrush and toothpaste, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, body lotion, women’s intimate hygiene accessories, sewing kit, shoe care accessories, letter paper and envelope, umbrella, electric kettle, heater. Wake-up call

You can request a wake-up call in person at reception or by dialling 9 on your phone.


We provide free Wi-Fi access in the entire area of the hotel, including guest rooms. Select the parkinn_guest network on your device, then open your browser after connecting, and follow the instructions there to have unlimited access to the internet. You can use the Internet Corner in the hotel to take care of your business affairs undisturbed. If you are interested in printing, photocopying or scanning services, contact the reception desk.

Bike and electric roller rentals

Our hotel offers bicycles and electric rollers for rent for both adults and children. Use the rental bikes and rollers at your own risk. Contact reception, and our colleagues will be happy to give you more information on the terms, current prices and recommended routes.

Business Corner

In order to manage your business matters, read your e-mails and surf the internet, we offer computer access free of charge, printing is available for a fee. You can find the business corner in the lobby. For further information please ask the reception desk.


As we are an animal-friendly hotel, you can bring your pets with you. We have designated rooms for this purpose where your pets can stay for additional charge. If you come with a large dog, please notify us in advance so we can offer you the most appropriate room. Please supervise and take good care of your pet in the entire area of the hotel so that its presence shall not disturb the other guests. Please note the pets are not allowed in the restaurant and the spa.

Air conditioning

The entire hotel is air conditioned. In the rooms your comfort will be enhanced by an individual climate control system. Please note that the air conditioning device will automatically turn off if you open the windows or the balcony door. Should you encounter any issues with the use of the system, please contact reception.

Laundry services

Fees apply for our hotel laundry services. If you want your clothes laundered, please place them in the laundry bag found in the hallway closet, and fill in the laundry list. Your account will be charged based on the approved laundry list.

Rooms with disable access

The entire area of our hotel is fully accessible. We offer our guests several facilitated roomswith specially designed shower cabin, bathroom grip bar and alarm bell. On request, we can also provide a wheelchair. Should you have any further questions, please contact reception.

Do not disturb

If you do not want to be disturbed, place the do not disturb sign on the doorknob outside your door. If you want complete peace and quiet, you can ask reception to hold your calls.

Extra bed

At least 1 extra bed can be placed in the rooms. Please make your request at the time of booking. Requests made at the time of arrival may be fulfilled depending on hotel occupancy and the availability of extra beds. Extra beds for adults and children over the age of 6 can be requested for an additional charge, while cribs or extra beds for children under the age of 6 are provided free of charge.

Entertainment and Program options

The games and arcade machines in the bar area are great for the entertainment of children and adults who are kids at heart: darts, air hockey, table football, little electric cars as well as several simulation games. Ping-pong, badminton and volleyball courts are available for our guests. For more information please contact our reception! Zalakaros and its area offer a variety of events all year round. Sights, permanent or temporary events await people of all ages.

Cleaning and turndown service

Your room will be cleaned every day of your stay, while the bed is turned down on every third day. Should you require extra cleaning or daily turndown service, please notify reception. Please note that we may charge extra for cleaning due to additional cleaning request or damage.

You can make calls directly from your room. Phone costs depend on the tariff zone of the phone number dialled and the duration of the call. For more information on rates, please contact reception. Before initiating an external call, dial 0, then dial the number (e.g.: 0 + 06 + 1+555 5555). The rooms cannot be called directly. Your incoming calls will be transferred through the +36 93 920 100 central number from the reception desk.

Television, radio

You can watch various Hungarian and foreign language news, sports and entertainment channels and shows on the TV set in your room. You may also listen to the radio on your TV. The radio channels can be found on the last channel of the TV menu. You can see the list of available TV and radio channels in the TV Hotel menu.


In case you need sewing service, we are at your disposal, please indicate your request at the reception desk.

Shoe cleaning

The shoe cleaning machine is located in the lobby, shoe polish is available in the room.


We are happy to help you with your ironing needs. Please contact the reception desk or the chambermaids with your request. You can also get more information on delivery times and any potential fees at the reception desk.



In accordance with the health and safety standards of the hotel the minibars have been made available clean, disinfected and empty for our guests. Filling the minibar can be asked at the reception desk. The price list can be found on the table in your room.

Our hotel offers authentic Indian Ayurvedic massage. At the spa, you can choose between therapeutic salt treatments and general massages.

The Korus Bar offers coffee specialties, dessert variations and cakes for the whole family. In addition to the best of international cuisine, the Park Kitchen menu also offers delicious Hungarian dishes as well as local specialties. The Stand Bar’s creative á la carte menu is a thoroughly selected range of home-like dishes, innovative specialties, salads and soups, completed with a choice of special wines, cocktails and premium drinks.

If you are into conscious eating, you can rest assured that you will find healthy and delicious items on the menu, too. Besides our vegetarian guests we take into account the various food intolerancies and allergies as well. Please contact us previously if you request these types of dishes, so that we can fully meet your needs.


You can buy various sandwiches, salads, snacks and soft drinks 24 hours a day at our Kiosk chilling cabinet found right next to the reception desk on the ground floor.

Spa, wellness, medical facility

One of the country’s most beautiful and biggest spas, the Zalakaros Spa is directly linked to our hotel. Guests of the hotel can access the spa facilities through a heated corridor (no additional pass or ticket is necessary). The entire family is in for an exciting adventure and deep relaxation: a special storyworld children’s beach with adventure pools, adrenalin slide park, sauna world, complex spa treatments, hydropathic and massage opportunities and a large selection of therapeutic treatments. The spa also offers a fitness room, a hair salon, a beauty parlor and a tanning salon.

Spa braclet

You may enter the Zalakaros Spa with the bracelets provided at the reception desk. The bracelets offer access to the spa from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival until 12:00 p.m. on the day of departure. Please note that a 3000 HUF/bracelet deposit is payable at the time of check-in. This amount will be automatically refunded if you return the bracelet no later than at the time of check-out.


Hotel guests can use the fitness room operating in the spa during the opening hours, either on their own or with the help of specialised staff. Please note that you can use the fitness room at your own risk.


In the building of the thermal and medical center and its courtyard, guests can enjoy the sauna park’s sauna cabins, steam and aroma baths (available with a separate entry pass). After you’ve been heated up, you can cool off in the plunge tub and with our special bucket shower and ice dispenser. The sauna close to the adventure pool is free of charge for hotel guests, the sauna park on the other hand requires paying an extra fee.


Zalakaros Spa offer various masks, massages, baths, physiotherapy, electrotherapy and ultrasound treatments. For details about these services contact the reception desk where our colleagues assist you in making an appointment as well as in filling out the treatment forms. Should you ask for it, we can charge these treatments to your hotel bill, so you need to pay only once, at departure.


Central emergency number: 112

In case of any emergency, accident or damage, please immediately call reception by dialling 9 on the in-room telephones.

In case of an alarm, follow the instruction of the staff or the emergency services.
If you detect a fire, press the nearest fire alarm and leave the area. In case of fire alarm, do not use the elevators.
The location of the nearest emergency exit path, fire protection installations and alarm buttons can be found on the map on your room door.
In the event of evacuation, the guests shall be directed to the appropriate gathering point.
Our hotel has a 24-hour security staff, who can be contacted through reception any time during the day.
The likelihood of fire is very small, but we also need your help in order to prevent and signal a potential fire.

What to do in the event of a fire?

If you detect a fire, immediately alert the reception desk by pressing one of the manual fire alarm buttons located at either end of the corridor.

Follow the staff’s instructions and keep calm

Familiarise yourself on the location and situation of the stairwell, exists and fire extinguishers.
The description of the escape routes can be found on the inside of your room door.
In case of fire alarm, do not use the elevators.
The escape routes are also indicated by pictograms throughout the building.

Please strictly observe that smoking is forbidden in the entire area of the hotel.

Do not place items in the in-room dustbin if they are on fire or smouldering

Do not have highly flammable or explosive materials in your room. (E.g.: electric heater, coffee maker, immersion heater, LPG gas tank, gas cartridges for refilling)
Do not leave your electric devices on when you are not in the room.

Avoid using candles, sparklers and other open-flame items.

General security, property protection

In the interest of your own safety, make sure to always have your door closed during your stay here. Please note that the hotel is not liable for items you may have forgotten in your room. If you leave your car in our parking lot, make sure you always lock it, and do not leave any valuables in the vehicle. The hotel is not liable for valuables left in the parking lot. Do not leave your luggage and valuables unattended while in the hotel.


Safe, in-room safe

We provide you with your own in-room safe to store your valuables. The safe is located in the hallway of your room, inside the built-in closet. The hotel is not liable for the valuables stored in the in-room safe; please use the in-room safe at your own risk. If you would like to deposit items of high value in the hotel’s fully secure, guarded and insured safe, you may do so by contacting our reception staff.

Use of in-room safes

To lock the safe:

  1. close the door of the safe
  2. Enter a four digit code
  3. Hold the door of the safe closed and press “LOCK”

To open the safe:

  1. Enter the code number you had previously set.
Important: Before you leave the hotel, make sure you have removed your personal valuables and leave the safe open for the next guests. Should you have any problems, please contact the reception.


Use of the thermostat

The main functions:

  • Heating
  • Cooling6aircondition
  • Switching off

With this button on the panel  you can select between the different functions and the power of the fan by clicking on it. Every click changes the function to the next one till after the eighth returns to the actual one.

In case you hold the button for at least 30 seconds, then the thermostat will reset and restart. (after 10 seconds without lighting it will restart)

In case of heating or cooling you can choose between three different fan power. In case of the first degree the first green led is lighting , at the next level the second one , and during the most powerful third level are lighting both  .

During the status switched offthere is e yellow LED light.  In that case there is no lights on the scale.

In case of normal functions you can see the actual temperature on the scale. To increase or decrease the temperature in the room please use the + or buttons. One sign is 1°C. 22°C is in the middle.

The temperature will be affected by different factors as well. (like card in the power switch, open window etc.) Tese are not to regulate from the panel.


IMPORTANT! In case the key card is not in theelectric switch the tempretaure in the room will change to and kept at 22 °C.
